so you know that book by mindy kaling, "is everyone hanging out without me?" today, the answer to that question was, yes. apparently everyone, but me, had columbus day off, so MY OWN husband (the one that is supposed to be my partner in crime, share all of life's joys with me, etc., etc.) deserted me early this morning and went with our couple-friends to Winchester, VA. my jealousy reached a new all-time high. to make up for me having to go to work, he brought me home some apple cider and donuts from marker miller orchard. bless his heart. he also promised me that we would move to winchester someday. bless his heart x2.
this past weekend fiiiinally seemed like a real fall weekend and i was loving every second. highlights included outlet shopping, a trip to eastern market, hanging apple crates as shelves (see here), visiting my sister's family, and getting a 'happy fall' treat from molly (thanks girl!).
for me, fall is one of the most magical times of the year (second to my birthday, obvi). what are your favorite fall goodies/activities/traditions?
