resilience.

 as i have gotten older, i feel like its become more and more difficult to bounce back after a hard day at work, not getting enough sleep, exercising, eating a little more than i should, etc, etc.  what happened to the days when i was playing sports non stop, waking up for seminary at 5am, and doing schoolwork like it was no big deal?!?!

over the weekend i was able to make the short trek 20 miles north to visit my sister and her family (please don't move).  they're youngest, Capri, is my hero when it comes to resilience. this little lady has already had a few trials thrown her way and has bounced back like a superstar.  not only is she the resilience queen, but she is also one of the sweetest and cutest little things i've ever seen (look at the pictures and tell me i'm wrong).  so here's to Capri, and the hope that some of her strength will rub off on me.
